Trent Lamphier Named National History Club Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Trent Lamphier on being selected as one of only five educators nationwide to receive the National Advisor of the Year Award for 2024–2025 from the National History Club !

Trent helped to establish the MHS History Lab, engaging students with primary source material and hand-on learning. He also played a major role in establishing and maintaining the beautiful Outdoor Classroom, including the installation of the statue of local hero, Charles Carpenter. Trent doesn’t just encourage students to learn about past history, he encourages them to challenge history and connect it to their own histories (and futures).

Way to go, Trent!
